Dear Bride and Groom,

Coordinating musicians, caterer, minister, decorations, videographer, photographer, limousine pickup, hotel arrangements, rehearsal dinner and more is a circus of activity requiring a creative, resourceful, competent ringmaster to make it all come together in an organized celebration of your new life together. My wife and I were thrilled to see how Lara Choma brought together our wedding with professionalism and a genuine desire to see us have the best possible wedding day from start to finish.

First and foremost, Ms. Choma has great people skills, presenting calm and understanding from the first stages of planning, through the scurry of decorating under time pressure, to the final dance. (And probably during clean up too, though we weren’t around to see that.) Ms. Choma communicated her genuine love of helping to create a beautiful wedding through not only her words, but also through her willingness to go above and beyond what we asked for, and her attention to the details. Because of her demonstrated commitment to making our day special, my wife and I felt secure in leaving the details of the wedding in Lara’s hands.

One outstanding quality that Lara brings to her role as a wedding coordinator is an expansive creativity and a design sense that transformed some of our basic ideas into beautiful artistry. Our limited budget didn’t have room for extravagance, but Lara worked with our financial parameters to design a wedding and reception that matched our personality and added an extra touch of elegance. Throughout the planning processes, she solicited our ideas, providing timely and appropriate suggestions that guided us through potential pitfalls, but ultimately allowed us to make the final call.

Finally, the professionalism of a wedding coordinator speaks volumes for their interest in making your wedding go well. For us, professionalism meant being on time and on top of details. Lara fit the criteria to the letter. If there are any hiccups throughout the wedding, they were taken care of immediately and went unnoticed by participants and guests.
In summary, my wife and I were extraordinarily pleased with the service that Lara provided, and she holds a fond place in our heart for helping our wedding day be as gloriously memorable day.

I am a person who wants things a certain way. If something is going to represent me, my style, my work, my values, my family, my faith, etc, I want give 100% to ensure that the end product is an accurate representation. Unfortunately for someone with specific tastes, perfectionist tendencies, and a busy lifestyle, I also become easily overwhelmed and stressed when the task in front of me seems too large to do perfectly. I would rather not do anything at all than be stressed.

Planning a wedding was one such occasion where, what I envisioned and how on earth I was going to arrive at that place without losing my mind didn’t seem to jive. Lamenting this to my mother, she immediately suggested I contact her friend’s daughter Lara (an event planner) to bounce ideas off of. So I did.

Lara is amazing! She is beyond her years in composure, creativity, interpersonal communication, style and unfathomable ability to manage 1,000 things at once. Lara was immediately excited about helping me with the wedding planning process and assured me that it could be a fun, un-stressful and even enjoyable experience. Lara was 110% there to consult on every detail, email clippings and suggestions, listen and process every vision and idea, share heartfelt excitement over elements coming together, make phone calls and appointments, and generally thinking of all the things that I wouldn’t think to do, that ended up making the Big Day absolutely perfect. I can’t thank Lara enough for the all-out effort and genuine care she put into working on our wedding.

She must have taken the stress that I was trying to avoid because everything was absolutely perfect and I was able to savor every carefree, precious moment. If she did take on any stress with all that detail management, you couldn’t tell at all. She was cool, calm and collected all weekend. Having Lara’s professional and warm presence at the rehearsal through the wedding was priceless. I would, and will, recommend her services to anyone in need of an event planner who is a truly consummate professional.
