All packages include the following services:
- Create a detailed itinerary explaining what is happening, who is doing it, and where they will be
- Create a vendor packet for all participating vendors that will inform vendors of all important details from directions to the venue to attire requirements
- Tie up any last loose ends in the planning process
- Walk through venue to help determine ideal layout
- Review all vendor contracts to make sure both parties are on the same page
- Run the rehearsal with the officiant.
- Greet all vendors on the wedding day and make sure they have everything they need to do their job
- Make sure everything is set up according to the bride and groom's vision including all rentals, programs, escort cards, table numbers, favors, menus, and sinage
- Manage the timeline: coordinate vendors and wedding party for events such as grand entrance, toasts, and first dance
- Final vendor payments and tip distribution
- Stay at the wedding until the last guest leaves, and make sure all challeneges are taken care of as they arise
- 24/7 email and phone availability

I love helping the DIY bride create her vision in the living room as well as the bride who wants nothing to do with the details. Whatever level of involvement you need I am the planner for you.

In one word, Lara is impressive. As a highly-organized bride-to-be with my fair share of event planning experience, I was hesitant to turn over the reigns to someone else on my wedding day but I knew that it was essential for us to enjoy the day. There were so many little details that I had worked on for months and I wanted to be sure that they were executed. Lara put me at ease immediately; she is able to command a situation in an unassuming manner, a skill not many possess. She is calm and poised and, even when things seem stressful, she has a smile on her face and a presence that communicates, "don't worry -- I got it!" Not only did she help us set up the day before our wedding, but she also ran our rehearsal to ensure that everyone knew their places for their procession. I first met Lara living in the dorms my freshman year at Cal Poly. I remember her room being filled with wedding and bridal magazines and the joy she found in talking about weddings or reading about the newest trends. She was and still is so passionate about the big day and all the little details that go along with it. When it came time for me to plan a wedding, I didnt really know where to start.
I wasnt much of a wedding expert, but I knew who was and that she would be ecstatic to help. I called Lara and told her some of my ideas and questions. She affirmed my ideas and added to them with her brilliance and answered the many tough questions that come with planning a wedding. Each time we met up to talk about the big day, she had pictures to show me, sketches of her visions for my ceremony, to-do lists, recommended vendors, and pure joy and excitement for me and the gorgeous wedding day we were putting together.
When it came time for the rehearsal and eventually the day of, Lara was even more amazing. She was extremely professional and determined to ensure that everything went the
way I wanted. She ran the rehearsal, making sure each person knew where they were going, when, and with who. In an effort to make my wedding day stress free, Lara made sure that all friends and family members knew not to call me with questions or concerns, but instead to call her. On the day of, she was the first person there, ensuring that vendors were where they were supposed to be and that everything looked its best. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I had no question about how things were going as I prepared to walk down the aisle. I knew that Lara had it all under control and was working
to make this day as special for me as she would want it for herself. I cant thank Lara enough for her help and I know that my wedding day would not have been as worry free and well organized as it was with Lara's help and wedding wisdom. I am so thankful for her passion and joy in helping others and the delight she finds in making wedding days as beautiful as they should be. She truly was an amazing blessing.

Lara Choma was an exceptional wedding planner, as she met and exceeded every one of our needs. Her professionalism and ability to perform every task to the best of her efforts was such a blessing to us on our wedding day. I am a person who wants things a certain way. If something is going to represent me, my style, my work, my values, my family, my faith, etc, I want to give 100% to ensure that the end product is an accurate representation. Unfortunately for someone with specific tastes, perfectionist tendencies, and a busy lifestyle, I also become easily overwhelmed and stressed when the task in front of me seems too large to do perfectly. I would rather not do anything at all than be stressed.
Planning a wedding was one such occasion where, what I envisioned and how on earth I was going to arrive at that place without losing my mind didnt seem to jive. Lamenting this to my mother, she immediately suggested I contact her friends daughter Lara (an event planner) to bounce ideas off of. So I did.
Best. Decision. Ever.
Lara was 110% there to consult on every detail, email clippings and suggestions, listen and process every vision and idea, share heartfelt excitement over elements coming together, make phone calls and appointments, and generally thinking of all the things that I wouldnt think to do, that ended up making the Big Day absolutely perfect.
I can't thank Lara enough for the all-out effort and genuine care she put into working on our wedding.She must have taken the stress that I was trying to avoid because everything was absolutely perfect and I was able to savor every carefree, precious moment. If she did take on any stress with all that detail management, you couldn't tell at all. She was cool, calm and collected all weekend. Having Lara's professional and warm presence at the rehearsal through the wedding was priceless.
